Elizabeth Steele

Elizabeth is an associate portfolio manager in derivatives at FINMETRIX, where she leverages her 18 years of expertise in currency and derivatives sales and trading to support her institutional clients in managing their risks in developed and emerging markets. Since 2007, she has worked in the trading floors of major financial institutions, first as a currency options trader, then in institutional sales, and she actively sits on the Bank of Canada’s Canadian Foreign Exchange Committee. Before joining FINMETRIX, Elizabeth worked as a consulting engineer in material loss prevention for industrial and commercial clients. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA in Finance from McGill University and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
